Watch repair and maintenanceUpdated 5 months ago

Has your watch stopped running or is the glass damaged?
You've come to the right place for all possible watch repairs. For brands where we are an authorized dealer, we send the repair or maintenance to the official service center of that brand. For other brands, we first attempt to have the repair carried out by an authorized watchmaker. If that is not possible, we have our own experienced watchmakers who can expertly repair your watch.

Watches are precise instruments that are exposed to various factors daily, such as moisture, temperature fluctuations, shocks, and dust. Additionally, a mechanical movement often consists of over a hundred parts. That's why regular maintenance is essential. At Brunott, our policy is: if the watch is running well, we leave it as it is. However, if your watch begins to run fast or slow, or if you want to keep it in top condition, we are ready for maintenance. We always consult with you first if it’s more cost-effective to send the watch to the factory.

The cost of a maintenance service depends on the brand, the age of your watch, and the complexity of the repair. After receiving your watch, we provide a customized quote starting from €65, €90, or €300, depending on the brand. Additionally, diagnostic fees may apply (€35 or €90).

The average turnaround time for repairs in our workshop is 2 weeks for minor repairs and 6 to 12 weeks for larger repairs.

Our watchmakers perform a comprehensive range of checks and repairs to bring your watch back to top condition.

For mechanical watches:

  • Technical analysis: We inspect the case, strap, clasp, and movement.
  • Disassembly of the case: The case is opened, and the movement's operation is checked.
  • Complete disassembly: The movement is carefully taken apart.
  • Cleaning: All parts are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Inspection and replacement: Parts are checked for wear and replaced if necessary.
  • Assembly and lubrication: After assembly, components are lubricated with special oils.
  • Testing: The movement is tested for accuracy.
  • Regulation: The balance spring is adjusted for optimal performance.
  • Case finishing: The case is cleaned and polished upon request.

For Quartz watches:
Quartz watches require less maintenance, but timely battery replacement is essential. We recommend having our watchmakers do this to prevent dust or moisture from entering the case.
